Purpose:

This position is accountable for providing quality Speech and Language Pathology services under the supervision of the Therapy Supervisor, Manager and, ultimately, the Director of Rehabilitation Therapies. This individual provides comprehensive speech and language therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, in therapy settings across the health system, including their families/caregivers. Services include, but are not limited to, comprehensive evaluation and treatment of cognitive, communication and swallowing limitations.

Name	Description
Education:	Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties safely and effectively. Appropriate education to obtain and maintain Speech Language Pathology licensure. Recent graduates who have applied for the registration examination may be considered for provisional appointment.
Experience:	None required. Applicants with physical disabilities experience, specialty certification or experience in one or more specialty areas is preferred.
License(s):	Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Speech Language Pathology license. Provisional License acceptable until State of Nevada Speech Language Pathology license is issued. Home Health- 205351 - Valid State of Nevada or California driver's license and ability to pass Renown Health's Department of Motor Vehicles Report criteria and current automobile insurance for department.
Certification(s):	BLS / CPR certification per AHA standards required.
Computer / Typing:	Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
