Curious and innovative problem solvers looking for the chance to meaningfully shape the future of cardiac health, our company, and your career About This Role: Join an embedded software test team as an Embedded Software Development Engineer Test Co-Op that helps ensure cardiac monitoring technology performs reliably where software meets hardware. You will work inside an established test framework, learn how embedded firmware behaves at the system level, and automate workflows that make testing more repeatable and efficient. You will gain exposure to requirements-based testing, code review, defect investigation, and medical device software development while partnering with engineers to understand expected behavior, explore failure modes, and strengthen tests and tools. Assignment Details This is a full-time, six-month Engineering Internship / Cooperative Education (Co-op) assignment for a current student. It offers internship-style learning, mentorship, and meaningful project work, but it is not a traditional summer internship. You have a desire to gain a deep, practical understanding of how devices work and how they fail. You have strong debugging skills that help you systematically troubleshoot unfamiliar issues across hardware and software boundaries. You enjoy writing impactful software to automate repetitive tasks.
