Looking for Clamp Press Operator jobs in San Fernando where dependable work keeps production moving? This opportunity lets you operate manufacturing equipment, monitor product quality, and help produce consistent results in a safe, fast-paced production environment.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing or machine operation experience
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints required
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment
• Basic math, writing, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards

• Set up and operate power press machines using proper dies and tooling
• Install and change dies for different production runs
• Position metal parts and fixtures for processing
• Punch, bend, crimp, shape, and assemble metal components
• Adjust machine settings to maintain quality production
• Inspect parts to ensure specifications and quality standards are met
• Follow all workplace safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Clamp Press Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
