Critical Care Intensivist Opportunity | Week-On/Week-Off Schedule | Mercy Hospital South

Join one of the most stable and collegial Critical Care teams in the St. Louis region at Mercy Hospital South, a large, established community hospital known for its strong physician culture, advanced technology, and commitment to quality patient care.

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Critical Care Physician to become part of a highly respected team of nine experienced intensivists supported by 24/7 in-house Advanced Practice Provider coverage.

Position Highlights

• Week-on / Week-off schedule
• 182 shifts annually
• Only 6-8 weeks of nights per year
• 40-bed ICU
• Typical daily census of 12-16 patients per physician
• Dedicated 24/7 in-house APP support
• High-acuity, procedure-rich practice
• No residency program or teaching obligations, allowing physicians to focus on patient care
• Opportunities to work with medical students if desired
• State-of-the-art equipment
