* Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and comparable tools to standardize and automate cloud provisioning and configuration.

* Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows that increase deployment reliability, operational consistency, and engineering efficiency.

* Develop, collect, and use operational metrics to monitor platform health, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous reliability and performance gains.

* Partner with application engineering, product, and security teams to support system design, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents effectively.

* Review and influence evolving cloud architecture, platform design, and technical standards for infrastructure and services.

* Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies to protect platform availability and resilience.

* Strong infrastructure as code experience, including proficiency with Terraform and CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps or Azure Pipelines.

* Scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Linux Shell, or comparable languages.

* Experience with observability, monitoring, and incident response practices; familiarity with SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets preferred.

* Working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, including installation, configuration, and automation.

* Strong troubleshooting skills with a systematic and calm approach to complex operational issues.

* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, security, and product teams.

* Demonstrate growth potential and learning agility by staying open to new tools, patterns, and platform needs, and applying new knowledge to improve reliability and performance.

* Show leadership through cross-functional collaboration, influencing technical decisions, sharing expertise, and working constructively through differing viewpoints.

* Adapt quickly to changing priorities, emerging incidents, and evolving platform requirements while remaining focused on outcomes.

* Apply creative thinking to improve automation, strengthen platform design, and solve operational challenges in practical, scalable ways.

* Use analytical skills to interpret metrics, identify patterns, break down complex problems, and support decisions with evidence.
