Position Title: Japanese Bilingual Customer Service Representative - Part-Time

Location: Arlington Heights, IL

Classification: Part-Time

Work Schedules: Mondays through Fridays, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (including a non-paid 1-hour lunch break), totaling 35 hours per week. (Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (including a non-paid 1-hour lunch break, totaling 25 hours per week) may also be considered as an alternative option)

Summary

A premier real estate service company is looking for a detail-oriented and bilingual Customer Service Representative to join their Chicago office in Arlington Heights, IL. This role focuses on delivering professional client communications, managing service apartments, and coordinating day-to-day administrative operations to ensure high client satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not are limited to:



  • Assist with setting up utilities for clients.
  • Support clients who encounter issues with their housing accommodations.
  • Follow up with clients approaching a lease renewal contract within 90 days.
  • Update CRM systems and Excel spreadsheets to accurately manage client statuses.
  • Coordinate client seminars and events.
  • Support clients through the property move-in process.
  • Communicate with new clients and provide advice via phone or web conference.
  • Negotiate with property owners on behalf of clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients.
  • Manage daily operations for service apartments.
  • Support other team members and collaborate on departmental goals.
  • Perform general office administration duties as needed, alongside other customer service care tasks assigned by management.



Qualifications

Required



  • Proficient in business-level Japanese and English (strong bilingual communication skills).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
  • Strong overall communication skills with the ability to handle professional correspondence via phone, email, and in-person interactions.


Preferred



  • Customer service experience, particularly within Japanese or Japanese-affiliated corporate environments in Japan or the United States.


The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
