As a Virtual Anatomic Pathologist, you will be part of an innovative and forward-thinking team committed to providing high-quality diagnostic services for veterinary clients across North America. In this role:
  • You will review and interpret digital anatomic pathology cases for veterinary clients across North America.
  • You will provide timely, accurate diagnostic reports that support patient care and clinical decision-making.
  • You will collaborate closely with a team of experienced pathologists and diagnostic professionals to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
  • You will maintain high standards of diagnostic quality, consistency, and medical accuracy.
  • You will stay informed on current trends and emerging topics in veterinary medicine and pathology.
  • You will utilize digital pathology platforms, computer systems, and dictation tools to complete case evaluations efficiently.
  • You will contribute your expertise to educational, research, and professional development initiatives within IDEXX and the veterinary community.
  • You will communicate findings clearly and professionally through written reports and interactions with colleagues and customers.

What you need to succeed:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
  • Experience in veterinary anatomic pathology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize work in a remote environment.
  • Strong computer proficiency and comfort working with digital pathology systems.
  • Ability to type and utilize dictation equipment efficiently.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a commitment to diagnostic excellence and customer support.
  • Familiarity with current topics and issues in clinical veterinary medicine.
  • Board certification through the American College of Veterinary Pathology (ACVP) or European College of Veterinary Pathology (ECVP)
  • Fluency in French / English, Spanish / English, Portuguese / English, or Korean / English is a plus
Physical Demands:

Extensive sitting and computer use.
