We are seeking a visionary and results-driven marketing professional to orchestrate end-to-end lifecycle strategies for a leading music streaming subscription service. In this pivotal role, you will be the architect of engaging customer journeys, from onboarding to long-term retention, cross-selling, and win-back efforts. You will collaborate across a dynamic organization, influencing product development, engineering, data analytics, and design teams to create privacy-friendly programs that deepen customer relationships and maximize the value of their subscriptions. Your work will directly shape how customers discover, experience, and love their music service, contributing directly to business growth and user satisfaction on a massive scale.

What You'll Do



  • Develop and continuously optimize engagement and retention strategies specifically tailored for a high-volume music streaming subscription service.
  • Lead experimentation efforts through A/B testing, generating new ideas for offerings, and crafting strategic recommendations grounded in deep data insights to meaningfully engage customers.
  • Forge strong cross-functional partnerships and create aligned plans to enhance performance against critical metrics, with a relentless focus on iterative testing and optimization.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with diverse global teams, including business stakeholders, product managers, engineers, data analysts, and designers across various time zones.
  • Establish and refine a process of continuous improvement, meticulously analyzing program results and feeding insights back into future strategic plans.
  • Define compelling customer journeys, articulate clear value propositions, and develop effective educational messaging around service features.
  • Prepare and manage operational briefs to guarantee the flawless execution of all marketing campaigns.
  • Create and maintain detailed requirement documents outlining technical specifications that necessitate engineering development.
  • Drive the customer communication strategy for the launch and ongoing promotion of new product features.


What You'll Bring



  • 7+ years of progressive experience leading lifecycle marketing programs, with a proven track record of success in consumer subscription businesses, demonstrating achievement in user engagement, retention, and tier/plan cross-selling goals.
  • Extensive hands-on experience testing and optimizing various marketing channels, including push notifications, email campaigns, and in-app messaging tactics.
  • Exceptional project management skills, characterized by meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • A strong ability to communicate intricate technical concepts effectively with engineering partners, while also translating complex information clearly for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deep expertise in A/B testing methodologies and a data-driven approach to marketing optimization.
  • Demonstrated capacity to meet deadlines and build consensus across teams while skillfully balancing numerous projects and priorities.
  • Outstanding presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate a strong point of view clearly and concisely to both senior executives and individual contributors.
  • You are an analytical problem solver with a history of developing and refining marketing strategies and programs that significantly boost customer engagement and retention.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
