About the Role

If you love the thrill of finding the right venue, negotiating smart deals, and keeping all the details moving, this role is right in your sweet spot. As Purchasing Manager, you'll help shape successful meetings and events from the earliest sourcing stage through contract execution and final invoice collection. You'll partner with clients, program managers, and suppliers to deliver value, reduce risk, and keep everything running smoothly. It's a fast-moving role for someone who's equal parts relationship-builder, problem-solver, and detail champion.

You're Good At




  • Sourcing hotels and non-hotel venues, comparing options, and making thoughtful recommendations based on client goals and meeting specs
  • Negotiating contracts, terms, pricing, and concessions while protecting client interests and minimizing risk
  • Managing multiple deadlines, staying organized through a project plan, and keeping technology systems and documentation accurate
  • Building strong client and supplier relationships with professionalism, confidence, and a high level of service
  • Learning new tools quickly and working across platforms like Microsoft Office, Adobe, Cvent, WebEx, and Teams




You Might Also Have




  • Three (3) plus years of experience in purchasing, meeting planning, hotel sales, and/or catering
  • Knowledge of virtual, hybrid, and live program execution, including a willingness to jump into new event tech
  • Strong destination and travel industry knowledge, including market trends and venue insights
  • A college degree and/or CMP certification
  • Bilingual skills and the ability to communicate clearly across a variety of stakeholders

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:Less than 25%

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Bilingual Corporate Meetings & Events Purchasing Manager is between $60,000 - $70,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
