In the role of Building Structural Engineering Intern, we'll count on you to:
- Gain real-world experience on exciting projects including buildings, existing structures, water-bearing structures, foundations, light industrial, and other types of facilities
- Tasks include load calculations, analysis, design, spreadsheet development, drawing production, fabrication/shop drawing review, site observations, and other duties as needed
- Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
- Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
- Perform assignments under the direct supervision of an engineer or project manager
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry including Microsoft Excel, Revit, RISA, RAM, and STAAD Preference given to local candidates Structural steel and/or concrete design coursework completed Prefer current enrollment in civil, structural, or architectural engineering program Enthusiasm to learn and develop within the field of structural engineering Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills

- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
- Attention to detail
- Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
