Goldbelt Professional Services specializes in providing expert resources for Public Health missions including scientific, technical, and administrative support from junior staff to high-level subject matter experts. Research and data driven, Goldbelt Professional Services' experts create solutions customized to the client's needs.

Summary:

Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a Public Health Analyst Ito review and identify responsive documents for PII, PHI, and mosaic information that might allow identification or trace-back to an individual patient or the patient's family members or caregivers.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Identify content protected by other FOIA exemptions, primarily Exemption 4 (commercial and proprietary content) and Exemption 5 (pre-decisional and deliberative content).
  • Identify content and records covered by an Assurance of Confidentiality (AoC).
  • Identify content, records, and data protected by contracts with commercial parties.
  • Link a defendable justification to content, records, and/or data requested to be protected.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with DHQP SMEs and the CDC FOIA Office to resolve FOIA concerns.
  • Assist the DHQP FOIA Team in addressing and responding to FOIA inquiries and activities.
  • Participate during CDC response activities and training exercises under direction of the DHQP Team Lead; duties include staffing the EOC desk to help support CDC's mission.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the rules, procedures, and principles that govern intramural and extramural program development, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint).
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making; capable of working independently with ability to multitask successfully.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in interpersonal exchanges.
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated responsibility and leadership in a public health or related program

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a relevant public health field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree plus 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a relevant public health field.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $108,000 annually.
