Molex, a Koch company, is seeking Finance Interns to join our global Finance organization in Lisle, IL, for Summer 2027. This 12-week internship provides meaningful, real-world experience through hands-on projects, business challenges, and opportunities to contribute to work that creates value across the organization. Interns will gain exposure to a specific area of Finance while developing analytical, problem-solving, and professional skills in a collaborative environment.

What You Will Do

We are hiring Finance Interns across several areas of our Finance organization. Interns will spend their summer supporting one specific team, gaining hands-on experience within that function. Explore the brief descriptions below to learn more about the different opportunities available across our Finance organization. You will enjoy a variety of networking events to promote lasting career connections, partner with interns from other disciplines on case studies, and participate in our Innovation Challenge. These are just a few key aspects of our internship program.

1. Divisional Financial Analyst Intern

  • Support finance business partners in delivery of monthly financial reporting & analysis to leadership.
  • Assist with development of business insights that will support profitable decision making and improvements across division.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional projects, providing relevant feedback & sharing best practices.
  • Manage review of various master data or financial database projects.

2. Pricing and Commercial Finance Intern

  • Analyze pricing, margin, and profitability trends to support commercial decision-making.
  • Assist with financial modeling and business case development for pricing and growth initiatives.
  • Partner with sales and finance teams to evaluate opportunities and business performance.
  • Prepare reports and insights that support strategic decisions and value creation.

3. Corporate FP&A Intern

  • Support financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities.
  • Analyze business performance and key financial metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reporting materials for senior leadership.
  • Develop insights and reporting tools that support financial decision-making.

4. Supply Chain Finance Intern

  • Prepare detailed financial analysis to support supply chain operations, including cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Present financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to senior management
  • Analyze income statement, cash flow, and balance sheet results as well as large data sets
  • Analyze plant and product level financials to communicate key stories to the business
  • Partner with the business to solve issues in operations, procurement, and logistics
  • Support business partners in decision making by properly utilizing the Decision-Making Framework

5. Regional Finance Intern

  • Support month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely results.
  • Analyze financial data and accounting transactions to identify trends, investigate variances, and support business decision-making.
  • Assist with internal controls, compliance activities, and process improvement initiatives across the finance organization.
  • Partner with accounting and finance teams on special projects focused on reporting, automation, and operational efficiency.

6. Risk Analyst Intern

  • Complete credit reviews for the purpose of determining appropriate credit limits and terms for new and existing customers across Molex's global customer base.
  • Manage and maintain credit risk exposures of assigned customer base.
  • Provide commercial teams with transparency to portfolio performance and risks to help drive profitable decisions.
  • Complete ad hoc data maintenance projects to ensure accurate reporting to Molex leadership and Koch Industries
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and experiment with technology to optimize Risk procedures.

7. Treasury Analyst Intern

  • Support cash management, liquidity forecasting, and treasury reporting activities.
  • Analyze banking, debt, and foreign exchange data to support treasury operations.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and treasury-related projects.
  • Prepare financial analyses and presentations for treasury and finance leadership.

8. Financial Systems Transformation Intern

  • Support initiatives focused on improving finance systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.
  • Assist with system testing, data validation, and documentation for transformation projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
  • Help develop reporting tools and dashboards that enhance financial visibility and efficiency.

9. Global Process Owner Intern

  • Support key finance processes including fixed assets, costing, general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with finance transformation initiatives by coordinating business requests, evaluating opportunities, and supporting project prioritization.
  • Analyze data and develop insights to support process improvements, performance metrics, and informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to policy, controls, and compliance efforts through reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communications.

10. Global Sales and Marketing Intern

  • Support process refinement efforts, including enhancements to existing financial models
  • Assist with process documentation and capture for improved efficiency and knowledge sharing
  • Prepare reports and develop reporting capabilities to support business insights
  • Conduct ad hoc financial and business analysis as needed
  • Perform data modeling to support decision-making and strategic planning
  • Contribute to market, revenue, and productivity analysis projects, including pending initiatives

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Available to work full-time throughout the 12-week Summer 2027 internship.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with data analytics, reporting, or process automation tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities combined with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Initiative, intellectual curiosity, effective communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

For this role, we anticipate paying $27 an hour.
