JOB SUMMARY: The Administrative Fellowship at Grady Health System is a 24month, full-time leadership development program designed for recent master's graduates pursuing careers in healthcare administration and health system leadership. Two fellows will be selected to gain immersive, hands-on experience across Grady's clinical operations, finance, strategy, community health, and organizational leadership functions at Atlanta's premier safety-net and Level I trauma center. The program prepares fellows for progressive leadership roles by combining rotational assignments, high-impact strategic projects, and direct mentorship from senior and executive leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Project Coordination and Management Experience
  • Ability to analyze date and draw meaningful conclusions and apply it to problem solving
  • Leadership experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in structured rotational assignments across areas such as hospital operations and patient care services, finance, strategy and business development, community health, and organizational excellence.

  • Support departmental and service line leaders with operational analysis, project management, performance improvement, and change management activities.

  • Lead and co-lead strategic, cross-functional projects that advance system priorities in access, equity, quality, and financial sustainability.

  • Develop and deliver clear presentations, dashboards, and written reports for senior and executive leadership.

  • Engage in regular executive mentorship, leadership rounding, and participation in senior leadership and board meetings, as appropriate.

  • Collaborate with the other Administrative Fellow to share learnings, co-sponsor projects, and contribute to a cohesive fellowship cohort experience.

  • Complete a capstone project that addresses a high-priority organizational need and present findings and recommendations to executive leadership at the conclusion of the program.

  • Additional duties as assigned
