BUILDING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I The Building Maintenance Technician I is responsible for supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of commercial facilities by performing routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and general building upkeep. This role completes preventive maintenance activities, responds to service requests, and performs basic repairs to building systems, equipment, and interior and exterior building components. The technician provides excellent customer service to tenants and visitors while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment. Working under the guidance of experienced team members, this position also develops foundational knowledge of building automation, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire and life safety, and critical power systems to support the long-term performance and reliability of the facility. WORK ENVIRONMENT/TRAVEL Daily travel between multiple managed properties is required. This position is provided with a vehicle and the necessary tools to travel to client sites to perform services. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical requirements listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Typical assignments frequently require that work be completed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Some jobs require an employee to work on high structures such as ladders and scaffolds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand; talk or hear; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee will be required to visit sites which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures. *** In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the hourly base salary range for this position is $23-28 per hour, excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you join McGough, your final base salary will be determined by several factors, including geography, location, skills, education, and experience. Furthermore, we place significant value on pay equity among our current team members as part of any final job offer. Please note that the range provided above reflects the hiring range for this role.
