Overview

TRC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our Nashville, TN office. This role is ideal for an early-career marketing professional with at least one year of professional marketing, communications, or related experience who is looking to grow their career in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The Marketing Coordinator will support the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives for energy efficiency and sustainability programs. Working closely with marketing, communications, program operations, and business development teams, this individual will help deliver campaigns, events, communications, and participant engagement activities while ensuring projects are completed on time and aligned with program goals.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, a strong communicator, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and eager to learn and contribute to a growing team.


Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, email, social media, and event channels.
  • Write and edit content for websites, newsletters, email campaigns, marketing materials, presentations, and social media platforms.
  • Coordinate the creation, review, and distribution of program communications and marketing collateral.
  • Assist with website content updates and content management system maintenance.
  • Support social media efforts by developing content, monitoring engagement, and identifying opportunities to increase audience reach and participation.
  • Coordinate and publish program newsletters and email marketing communications.
  • Research, coordinate, and support trade shows, workshops, webinars, community events, and other client-facing activities.
  • Track marketing activities and campaign performance and assist in preparing reports and presentations that communicate results and insights.
  • Maintain program information, marketing assets, and project documentation in digital and shared environments.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external partners, vendors, and contractors to support marketing initiatives and program objectives.
  • Assist with purchasing and managing promotional materials, event supplies, and marketing resources as needed.
  • Support participant outreach and engagement initiatives through a variety of communication channels.
  • Perform marketing administration, project tracking, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, or a related field.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting, proofreading, and content development abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, webinar tools, survey platforms, or event management systems.
  • Experience updating website content through content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
  • Familiarity with social media management and performance tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing concepts, including email marketing, paid media, SEO, and analytics.
  • Experience working with external vendors and event coordination.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is a plus, but graphic design is not a primary responsibility of this role.
  • Experience in the energy efficiency, sustainability, utility, engineering, or consulting industry is a plus.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation:Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
