We are seeking an *Deal Desk Analyst* to support the successful structuring, review, and approval of complex sales transactions. This role serves as a strategic partner to sales teams, helping balance customer needs with business objectives while ensuring transactions remain profitable, compliant, and operationally sound.
The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate deal approvals, accelerate sales cycles, and maintain adherence to internal policies and procedures. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business functions. Key Responsibilities * Partner with sales teams to structure profitable and compliant transactions that meet customer requirements while aligning with company objectives. * Manage day-to-day deal approval activities, including first-level review and approval of sales opportunities. * Collaborate with sales representatives to understand customer business challenges and develop appropriate deal structures. * Prepare and communicate business cases to cross-functional stakeholders, clearly articulating deal value and business justification. * Draft, review, and certify customer contracts and transaction documentation. * Facilitate deal progression and help accelerate transaction closures. * Ensure transactions comply with internal revenue recognition policies, operational guidelines, and approval requirements. * Monitor and maintain adherence to established policies, procedures, service levels, and performance metrics. * Partner with Legal, Sales Operations, Finance, Revenue Assurance, Order Management, Credit, and other internal stakeholders to support deal execution. * Provide regular updates to sales teams and management regarding deal status, approvals, and potential risks. * Prepare in-quarter reporting and transactional status updates for leadership. * Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance productivity, consistency, and scalability. * Promote consistent application of policies and procedures across the sales organization. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. * Experience supporting sales operations, deal desk, contract management, finance, revenue operations, or related business functions. * Working knowledge of sales processes, contract structures, and commercial transactions. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Experience working cross-functionally with diverse stakeholder groups. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Proficiency with CRM systems, contract management tools, and Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications * Experience supporting software, SaaS, technology, or subscription-based business models. * Understanding of revenue recognition principles and sales compliance requirements. * Familiarity with contract negotiation and commercial deal structuring. * Knowledge of sales operations and approval workflow processes. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Lehi, UT. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $40.89 - $40.89/hr.
