We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: NICU Registered Nurse in Manassas, VA.

Requirements:

• Required Certifications: NRP, NRP Advanced, BLS
• Required Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Anti-Seizure Medications, Arterial line management, Blood glucose monitoring, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Bubble CPAP, Central line blood draw, Developmental Care, Dysrhythmia Interpretation/Management, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Insulin administration, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, Management of Chest Tubes, Neonatal Sepsis, Neonates 29-34 weeks, Patient/family teaching, Phlebotomy, Phototherapy, Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Antibiotics/Antivirals, Assist with lumbar puncture, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), Hyperbilirubinemia, Level 1 Nursery, Meconium Aspiration, Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC), Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Neonatal Dosage Calculations, Neonates < 24-28 weeks, Neonates > 34 weeks, NICU II, NICU III, Oxygen Delivery Systems, Respiratory distress syndrome, Seizure disorders, Steroids, Surfactants, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter), UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter), Sepsis Work Up, Starting and maintaining IVs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Thermoregulation, Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
