Job Summary Newton Wellesley is looking for Radiology Technologist looking to take their career to the next level in Mammography!We are willing to train licensed Rad Techs that are interested in Mammography full time. $20,000 Sign On bonus for external candidates! Minimum hourly pay rate for these roles is $43.10 and will increase with years of experience. Summary Responsible for performing a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions Performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate. -Positions patients and uses immobilization if necessary. -Selects proper mode to produce correct exposure factors -Evaluates images for diagnostic quality, obtaining additional images as needed. -Prepares and sets up medical supplies using aseptic techniques if appropriate. -Explains procedures to patients.
