Job Purpose
This position is responsible for assisting senior sales executives and team leads in executing vendor finance programs, supporting deal flow, coordinating documentation, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and internal teams.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and eager to learn the equipment leasing business while contributing to the success of a high-performance sales team. This is an excellent opportunity to build foundational industry knowledge and grow into a more senior sales role over time.
Job Duties
- Support senior sales reps in managing active vendor programs, tracking deal activity, and ensuring timely follow up with vendors and end users.
- Help prepare quotes, proposals, and finance applications under guidance from the lead rep or team.
- Coordinator with vendors and customers to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Deal Coordination
- Track lease opportunities in the CRM and ensure data accuracy for reporting and forecasting.
- Liaise with internal credit, operations, and documentation teams to help move deals efficiently through the pipeline.
- Monitor key deal milestones and proactively flag issues or delays to the sales team.
- Vendor Program Execution
- Assist in day-to-day support of vendor finance programs, including maintaining pricing schedules, documentation templates and approved program parameters.
- Respond to vendor inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Ensure consistent execution of vendor program guidelines and service standards.
- Client Interaction and Communication
- Support outbound and inbound communication with vendors and end-users to answer basic questions and relay information to the appropriate team member.
- Represent the company with professionalism and a service-first attitude during all external interactions.
- Administrative & CRM Maintenance
- Maintain accurate client and deal data in CRM systems.
- Run reports and prepare summaries for team leads or managers as needed.
- Help with scheduling calls, managing calendars and coordinating virtual or in-person meetings.
- Will perform special projects as assigned.
Education, Job Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales support, customer service, or operations role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Exposure to equipment leasing, commercial lending, or vendor finance programs
- Experience working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Interest in growing into a full sales or account management role
- Team-oriented and dependable
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales support, customer service, or operations role
