The primary responsibility of the Project Manager II role is to lead cross-functional and cross-company teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed customer expectations. Functions as the core team lead (CTL) of a cross-opco initiative.
Minimum Education Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Science, Business, Finance, or related field. In addition to minimum experience, high school diploma or GED and four (4) years of experience in a technical or professional position is accepted in lieu of degree. Minimum Experience Seven (7) years experience required in project or program management or three (3) years experience required as a Project Manager I. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications. Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management. Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals. Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs. Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions. Knowledge of concepts, practices, policies and procedures related to field operations. Job Conditions Minimal travel required.
