Overview Operations Performance & Support is seeking an energetic candidate to be responsible for the development, oversight, and performance monitoring of operational capital and O&M budgets. Provides strategic financial guidance, budget planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost management support to business leaders to ensure effective resource allocation and achievement of operational objectives. Partners with Operations, Finance, and executive leadership to identify risks and opportunities, drive financial discipline, support regulatory requirements, and deliver accurate financial reporting and insights that enable informed business decisions. Core Responsibilities
- Ensures implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensures that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.

- Leads budget development process and communicates budget guidelines, process, and timeline to the operating areas.
- Challenges budget assumptions and work plan requirements to balance budget request with corporate priorities and identifies opportunities to create value-added analyses to help customers set strategic direction.
- Vets financial forecasts and challenges forecast assumptions along with work plan requirements and communicates financial forecast results to senior management.
- Reviews and vets monthly management report and communicates monthly performance to customers.
- Reviews and challenges capital optimization process output as well as the overall capital portfolio performance and allocation.
- Partners with customers through communication of weekly data and synthesis of results to set strategy around spend driver tracking.
- Assists in utilities rate case filing and regulatory reporting and helps prepare relevant documentation.
- Provides training to customers and internal staff on key processes, systems, and financial acumen including accruals and other accounting considerations.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree and 8 years relevant work experience or
- Master's Degree and 6 years relevant work experience
Preferred Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field and 8 years relevant work experience
- Master's Degree Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field and 6 years relevant work experience
Relevant Work Experience
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated internal leadership experience (e.g., project lead, team lead, or indirect supervisory responsibilities) required.
- FP&A experience, preferred.
- Demonstrated strong quantitative and presentation skills, required.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and budgeting tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP), required.
- Understanding of accounting principles (e.g., income statement, balance sheet), required.
- Demonstrated strong critical thinking capabilities and proactive qualities, required.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, required.
- Demonstrated ability to influence decision making, required.
- Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx), preferred.
- Familiarity with work management systems (e.g., Compass, Logica, Maximo), preferred.

Additional Physical Demands
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
- Must work at field locations in all weather conditions
- Must travel to company locations to work on storm restoration and heat contingencies
- Must use their personal vehicles and transport, store, and secure company laptop computers and other job related equipment in the vehicle. Reimbursement for use of personal vehicle is available through the company mileage procedure
