Texas Oncology is looking for a Vice President of Operations to join our team to support our south region.

This is a remote position, Texas residency is required.

What is the Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP)?

Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP): is an incentive program that typically vests over a three-year period and is tied to both individual performance and the operational success of Texas Oncology. Awards are discretionary and based on your position, performance, and potential for future career growth at Texas Oncology. Awards are reviewed and approved during the annual compensation review. LTIP awards are subject to your continued employment through the award payment date, and are governed by the written terms and conditions of the LTIP document.

Summary

The Vice President of Operations provides strategic leadership and oversight for organizational operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role is responsible for developing and executing short- and long-term plans, driving operational efficiency, and supporting sustainable growth.


Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct the development and implementation of strategic plans and budgets based on organizational goals.
  • Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and objectives, ensuring compliance and timely updates.
  • Monitor business conditions and advise senior leadership on operational matters.
  • Ensure adherence to legal requirements and government reporting regulations.
  • Oversee employee evaluation processes, including performance reviews, merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
  • Monitor and communicate organizational progress through analysis and reporting.
  • Lead business development initiatives, including market assessments and expansion planning.
  • Manage contract administration, quality assurance, utilization review, and ROI analysis.
  • Develop and implement expense control programs.
  • Oversee pricing strategies and financial modeling for competitive positioning.
  • Maintain responsibility for margin analysis and unique billing arrangements.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure alignment of strategic plans.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Typically requires thirteen years of professional experience and ten years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience).

Physical Demands:

  • Regular sitting, occasional standing and walking; ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Requires normal vision and hearing.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based role with frequent interaction across teams.
  • Travel may be required up to 40% of the time.
