Education Requirements



  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and understand job tickets, production schedules, work instructions, and quality specifications.
  • Basic math and mechanical aptitude required for measurements, machine settings, and production documentation.


Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in printing, manufacturing, production, or machine operation preferred.
  • Knowledge of printing press operations, production workflows, and quality control processes is a plus.
  • Experience handling paper rolls, sheets, inks, and production materials in a fast-paced environment preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and work effectively within a team-driven production setting.


Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Capable of lifting, loading, unloading, and moving printing materials and finished products.
  • Manual dexterity required for machine setup, adjustments, inspections, and material handling.
  • Ability to work safely around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment.
  • Must be able to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.


Job Duties

  • Assist with the setup and operation of printing presses, including loading paper, ink, and production materials.
  • Adjust press settings such as ink levels, tension, and registration to ensure optimal print quality.
  • Monitor press performance, identify production issues, and support troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime.
  • Load and unload paper rolls, sheets, and materials while preparing equipment for production runs.
  • Inspect printed products for defects, color consistency, and adherence to customer specifications.
  • Stack, sort, package, and prepare finished printed materials for shipment.
  • Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of press equipment and work areas.
  • Maintain accurate production records, inventory counts, and material usage logs.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and collaborate with production, prepress, and finishing teams to meet quality standards and delivery deadlines.
