Job Description We are FIS. Our technology powers the world's economy and our teams bring innovation to life. Location: Tri-State area, hybrid About the role: In this exciting new opportunity, you'll be responsible for leading the product build for Keystone Reciprocal Deposits, a governed network service that helps banks retain large deposit relationships, support expanded FDIC insurance coverage above $250,000, and reduce operational drag across placement, matching, recalls, reconciliations, reporting, and audit evidence. You'll own product direction, design choices, launch readiness, adoption, pricing inputs, sales enablement, customer feedback loops, and the operating mechanisms that determine whether the product works commercially, not just technically. About the team: Our team collaborates with engineers, bank treasury leaders, operations teams, relationship managers, compliance, legal, risk, audit, finance, marketing, sales, and more! We help drive complex products theses into products that customers buy, adopt, operate, and expand. What you'll be doing:
Product Strategy
- Define the product strategy for Reciprocal Deposits, including MVP scope, founder-bank pilot requirements, scale path, and commercial readiness gates.
- Build the roadmap for allocation, reciprocal matching, capacity management, recall orchestration, settlement evidence, reporting, pricing telemetry, and support workflows.
- Partner with GTM and Commercial teams to define founder-bank selection, network viability assumptions, and adoption path across priority FIS core clients.
Product Execution
- Write high-quality PRDs, launch plans, operating requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and decision memos.
- Own requirements for customer enrollment, bank onboarding, depositor exclusions, insurance cap enforcement, bank capacity profiles, allocation logic, and reciprocal matching.
- Build product mechanisms for evidence: allocation reports, matching records, audit logs, exception histories, settlement outputs, and compliance exports.
Commercial Ownership and Product Marketing
- Own the commercial success model for Reciprocal Deposits, including target customer segments, adoption path, packaging assumptions, pricing inputs, usage telemetry, and success metrics.
- Define positioning, value proposition, buyer narratives, competitive framing, launch messaging, sales enablement, demo flows, and customer proof points with GTM and Marketing.
- Convert product capabilities into customer-ready artifacts, including pitch materials, implementation narratives, FAQs, objection handling, pilot success criteria, and release communications.
Customer and Market Leadership
- Engage directly with bank treasury, operations, compliance, relationship management, CIO, and payments leaders.
- Translate bank operating realities into scalable product capabilities, not one-off implementation commitments.
- Validate user workflows for treasury teams, bank operations, relationship managers, compliance, audit, and FIS/Keystone operations.
Technical Product Leadership
- Partner deeply with engineering and architecture on allocation services, matching logic, ledger semantics, APIs, event orchestration, identity, RBAC, maker/checker controls, audit logging, and operational tooling.
- Own product decisions around net versus gross settlement evidence, ledger versus off-ledger accounting records, batch versus intraday processing, and exception/fallback handling.
Operational and Regulatory Readiness
- Define product controls for pass-through recordkeeping support, reciprocal classification support, thresholds, exclusions, default handling, disclosures, and audit evidence.
- Drive launch readiness for roles, limits, bank setup, settlement tests, monitoring, DR, support runbooks, escalation paths, and exception management.
What you bring (required):
- 8+ years of product management experience.
- Experience building platform, infrastructure, banking, payments, treasury, deposit, or financial technology products.
- Experience working directly with engineering teams on highly technical systems.
- Experience managing cross-functional delivery across product, engineering, legal, compliance, operations, support, finance, and GTM stakeholders.
- Strong written communication skills, including PRDs, decision memos, launch plans, and executive-ready narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in ambiguous, regulated, and high-stakes environments.
- Experience owning product outcomes beyond delivery, including adoption, GTM readiness, customer feedback loops, pricing inputs, launch metrics, or commercial performance.
What you bring (highly preferred):
- Reciprocal deposits, brokered deposits, sweep products, insured cash products, treasury management, or liquidity products.
- Deposit operations, core banking, Cash Manager or cash management platforms, reconciliation, statements, GL posting, or settlement operations.
- FDIC insurance workflows, pass-through recordkeeping, bank compliance evidence, audit logs, or regulatory reporting.
- Tokenized deposits, digital assets, stablecoins, or distributed ledger infrastructure.
- API platforms, bank integration models, developer ecosystems, event-driven systems, or transaction processing platforms.
- Financial networks, consortium models, rulebooks, network governance, or multi-party operating models.
- Pricing, usage telemetry, billing models, cost drivers, or unit economics for bank infrastructure products.
