| Job Title: Clinical Research Instrumentation & Data Specialist IPurpose:The Clinical Research Instrumentation & Data Specialist I is responsible for all instrumentation set-up and preparation for study visits, instrument maintenance (calibration, servicing, cleaning), instrument data export and analysis, image compilation and facilitating review of before and after photos, coordinating with the manufacturer for any technical support. This individual may also support other activities in the Skincare Clinical Research & Innovation Center (SCRIC), including operational activities, clinical studies and case studies in support of Skincare products and materials and reports to the Sr. Manager Clinical Aesthetician - Skincare of SCRIC.Responsibilities:This individual determines and pursues courses of action necessary to meet clinical goals and objectives.This individual is responsible for supporting all instrumentation activities (camera systems, spectrophotometers, etcetera.) including general maintenance, setup prior to study visits, calibration, coordinating and technical support and servicing, data export and analysis;Provides input into the protocol design related to instrumentation techniques and data capture,Responsible for exporting and compiling data from instrumentation (Camera Systems, Probes, etc)Responsible for all instrumentation data export, image analysis, and data entry. Includes detailed review of data and check for data accuracy.Creates and updates the Work Instructions for all instrumentation within Skincare Clinical ResearchResponsible for coordinating with relevant stakeholders (e.g. IT, Facilities, etc) for on-boarding new instrumentation and decommissioning obsolescent instrumentationResponsible for tracking instrumentation loaned to external clinical research sitesResponsible for timely delivery on before and after photo presentations for all clinical studies Responsible for leading review of images with the SCRIC team Supports the Skincare Clinical Team with data presentationsPresents Clinical Research data to relevant stakeholders Maintains SCRIC Product Inventory and equipment Additional responsibilities include adverse event reporting, medical inquiries and general medical affairs issues, as appropriate. Qualifications:Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree (science field preferred). Must have general computer skills including Microsoft Professional Suite (such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must be comfortable with using and/or learning to use new technology. Must be organized, have good attention to detail, and able to follow good documentation practices. Must be able to manage multiple ongoing studies and have good time management skills. Must be comfortable interacting with patients/subjects. Experience with GCPs is preferred.
