Position Highlights

The Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Arizona is seeking an accomplished educator to join our Educational Psychology faculty for the 2026-2027 academic year.

This will be a non-tenure-track, Limited Term Adjunct Instructor position to provide part-time instruction during our Fall semester.

Please note: The teaching schedule will depend on the class assignment; the assignment may be online, classroom-based, and/or hybrid, depending on need.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Instruct undergraduate students in Evolution and Human Development (EDP 200).
  • Grade projects and exams.
  • Work collaboratively with Educational Psychology faculty.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated expertise in both theoretical and applied areas of Educational Psychology.
  • Knowledge of and ability to implement effective and engaging instructional strategies.
  • Ability to engage in reflective practice and work effectively with a variety of students in higher education.
  • Ability and willingness to participate in professional development and preparation that strengthens instructional knowledge and skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in Educational Psychology or similar setting.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated college-level teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching at the graduate level.
  • Experience using online learning platforms such as D2L, Zoom, and recording tools.
  • Experience working with individuals from varied educational and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Experience in course and curriculum development related to instructional content.
