Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing multiple Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) installation projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. The Project Manager works closely with field teams, clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders while managing project financials, validating materials, coordinating resources, and mitigating project risks.

Job Responsibilities




  • Manage multiple OSP and ISP installation projects simultaneously from planning through closeout.



  • Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.



  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.



  • Validate project materials, inventory, and readiness prior to project execution.



  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), company policies, and customer requirements.



  • Prepare and maintain accurate project reporting, documentation, and status updates.



  • Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost control.



  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize schedule or financial impacts.



  • Review and manage change orders to protect project profitability.



  • Communicate project progress, milestones, and issues with clients and internal stakeholders.



  • Ensure quality standards and safety requirements are met throughout all phases of the project.



  • Conduct project meetings and coordinate manpower planning with field leadership.



  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.



  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project execution and operational efficiency.




Job Requirements




  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in telecommunications, construction, utilities, or a related industry.



  • Proven experience managing OSP and ISP installation projects.



  • Experience overseeing multiple projects and field teams simultaneously.



  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.



  • Experience validating project materials, SOPs, reporting, and operational documentation.



  • Ability to interpret project drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.



  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.



  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.



  • PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.



  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively as required.



  • Must be open to full relocation based on business needs.

Additional Job Details (Commute, Attendance, etc.)




  • Full-time position.



  • Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 50 hours per week.



  • Extensive travel is required during the initial onboarding period to support projects in multiple markets and train alongside experienced Project Managers.



  • Following the onboarding period, the selected candidate will relocate to an assigned market.



  • Candidates residing in any region will be considered provided they are willing to relocate.



  • Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and individual circumstances.
