Whether you're an experienced swim instructor or looking to start a rewarding new role, the YMCA of the North Shore is looking for enthusiastic Swim Instructors to join our Aquatics Team this fall! Help children and adults gain confidence, develop lifelong swimming skills, and learn the importance of water safety-all while working in a fun, supportive environment. New to Teaching? We've Got You Covered! No previous teaching experience? No problem! We provide paid training for qualified candidates, including: Training on the YMCA of the USA Swim Curriculum Shadowing and mentoring with experienced instructors Ongoing coaching and professional development A supportive team that's invested in your success What You'll Do As a Swim Instructor, you will: Teach swim lessons to children and adults of all ages and abilities. Lead engaging group and private lessons using the YMCA Swim Curriculum. Promote water safety while helping participants build confidence and achieve their goals. Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment. Celebrate each swimmer's progress and make every lesson fun and meaningful. Qualifications Must be at least 16 years old Current certifications in Lifeguarding/Swim Instruction, Pro CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen preferred - or willing to obtain Positive attitude, love of the water, and desire to make a difference!
