Job Details: The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for supporting the sustainment, integration, operation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise and mission network infrastructure supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs and operational environments. This role supports the reliability, security, and performance of existing LAN/WAN, transport, and Cross Domain Solution environments across distributed and mission-critical networks. The Senior Network Engineer performs network integration support, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and operational sustainment activities to maintain high availability and mission readiness. This position places strong emphasis on integration engineering, including the planning, configuration, testing, validation, documentation, deployment, and transition of network and Cross Domain Solution capabilities into operational environments. This position works closely with senior technical staff, systems engineers, cybersecurity teams, operational support staff, and government stakeholders to support stable network operations, resolve technical issues, validate system connectivity, and implement approved network and cross domain improvements within established architectures. This position requires strong experience with Cross Domain Solutions, secure data transfer, network segmentation, enclave connectivity, mission data dissemination, and the operational considerations associated with moving data between security domains. The role also supports Cross Domain Solution accreditation activities, including technical documentation and support for Site-Based Security Assessments (SBSAs), Raise the Bar (RTB) 2.0 requirements, National Cross Domain Strategy & Management Office (NCDSMO) policies, RMF activities, STIG guidance, and applicable DoD cybersecurity policies. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Site-specific configuration details * Participate in operational reviews, technical troubleshooting sessions, integration planning meetings, accreditation support discussions, and engineering working groups * Ensure network operations and cross domain integrations comply with DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF requirements, STIG guidance, RTB 2.0 requirements, NCDSMO policies, and applicable security requirements * Support vulnerability remediation and implementation of required security controls across network and cross domain environments * Identify operational risks, integration issues, accreditation impacts, and configuration gaps, and recommend practical improvements to enhance reliability, security, and performance * Collaborate with systems engineering, cybersecurity teams, operational support staff, assessment teams, and government stakeholders to maintain mission system connectivity and support accreditation activities * Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and operational support staff, as needed * Support engineering analysis and technical inputs for program proposals, integration planning, site deployments, accreditation support, or network sustainment efforts Minimum Job Requirements

Cubic Pay Range: $96,000.00 - $137,000.00 + benefits.The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
