This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist looking to expand their role as a strategic partner to business leaders while continuing to grow within the Human Resources function.

The Senior Human Resources Generalist serves as a strategic HR partner to assigned business leaders, providing consultation and support across key areas including employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and HR policy. This role develops strong relationships with leaders, gains a deep understanding of operational needs, and contributes to the alignment of people strategies with business priorities.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Build effective working relationships with assigned business leaders and provide proactive HR guidance and consultation to address organizational and employee needs.
  • Consult with managers on employee relations, performance management, workplace concerns, and HR policies.
  • Lead employee relations investigations and partner with HR leadership to assess findings and recommend appropriate resolutions, as needed.
  • Coach managers on performance management, employee development, corrective actions, and policy interpretation.
  • Partner with employees and managers to promote a positive work environment, strengthen employee engagement, and support retention efforts.
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to identify opportunities and recommend practical solutions.
  • Apply HR policies and procedures consistently while partnering with leaders to address employee matters and support compliance.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR team to support recruiting, onboarding, promotions, transfers, and other employee lifecycle activities.
  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organizational changes, and talent planning activities for assigned business units.
  • Support international employee mobility activities, including work authorization and expatriate administration, as needed.
  • Identify training and development needs and partner with leaders and HR team to develop appropriate learning solutions.
  • Participate in HR projects, change management initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts that enhance the employee experience and business effectiveness.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish credibility and partner effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and the ability to interpret and apply HR policies and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and recommend practical HR solutions.
  • Strong consultative approach with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build credibility across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems, including Workday, is a plus.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience in an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or similar HR role, including employee relations, performance management, and supporting manager coaching.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting a global or matrixed organization is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Workday is preferred.
  • Experience with immigration or employment authorization processes is a plus.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
