Job Summary

The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud platforms. This role supports ongoing business operations, new feature development, and technology modernization initiatives while helping reduce technical debt through scalable and maintainable solutions. The Salesforce Developer collaborates with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into secure, high-performing Salesforce applications and integrations.

Job Responsibilities



  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and develop clear technical user stories.
  • Develop custom Salesforce components, including Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Aura components, and custom CSS.
  • Implement automation solutions using Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
  • Develop and maintain synchronous and asynchronous processes, including Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Scheduled Jobs.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and MuleSoft integrations.
  • Apply Salesforce security standards, governance limits, and platform best practices to ensure secure and scalable solutions.
  • Participate in solution design sessions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
  • Monitor and improve Salesforce platform performance while maintaining compliance with security and scalability standards.
  • Support ongoing Salesforce enhancements, production issues, and business-driven improvements.
  • Contribute to technology modernization efforts, including reducing technical debt and improving existing solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of four (4) years of Salesforce development experience across multiple Salesforce Clouds.
  • Five (5) to six (6) years of hands-on Salesforce development experience preferred.
  • Strong experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience developing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, and CSS.
  • Hands-on experience with MuleSoft integrations and external API integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce automation tools, including Flows, Batch Processing, Queueable Jobs, and Scheduled Jobs.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, governance limits, and platform best practices.
  • Experience developing secure, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered.


Work Experience



  • Four (4) to six (6) years of Salesforce development experience required.
  • Experience supporting Salesforce enhancement projects, integrations, and platform modernization initiatives preferred.
