Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 1.00 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: 12 Hour Days (United States of America)

Responsibilities:

The Logistics Shift Captain is a key operational leader responsible for ensuring ambulances, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and supplies are mission-ready to support exceptional patient care. Serving as the lead logistics resource during assigned shifts, this position oversees daily workflow, guides and mentors Logistics Technicians, and ensures compliance with inventory, fleet, pharmacy, and regulatory requirements. Through effective resource management, quality control, and operational oversight, the Logistics Shift Captain plays a vital role in maintaining ambulance readiness, supporting field crews, and ensuring Albuquerque Ambulance Service can respond safely and efficiently to the needs of the community.

Shift Differentials

  • $1.75/hr Night Differential, earned on eligible night hours, stacks on base rate.

  • $1.25/hr Weekend Differential, earned on eligible weekend hours, stacks on base rate.

Work Schedule: Flexible Hours/Days

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Completion of a formal Emergency Medical Technician (EMTBasic) course preferred
  • Current New Mexico EMTBasic license preferred
  • Ability to complete specialized stocking practices training within nine (9) months of hire
  • Current valid New Mexico driver's license required with driving record aligned with Presbyterian policies
