As a Security Officer Access Control in YONKERS , NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential community, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, assist residents and visitors, and conduct routine patrols of assigned areas. Pay Rate: $16.09 - $17.09 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff while following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols.
• Control access to the residential property by verifying credentials, managing visitor and vendor entry, and maintaining accurate access logs.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access control systems for unauthorized activity and report concerns according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and contact property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, residential buildings, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
