Department 10016 Office of the Chief Information Officer Pay Range $65,124.80 - $108,555.20 Perform financial analysis on cash flow, operating results, and business plans to determine rates of return, capital/cash flow requirements, etc. Prepare forecasts and analysis on industry and general economic trends. Provide accurate and timely reports for performance monitoring. May be responsible for budget or cost analysis. Conducts tasks and assignments as directed. Works under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. May provide guidance to less experienced Financial Analysts. Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree Finance, Health Care Administration or related field. (Required) Minimum Work Experience 2 years Typically requires 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. (Required) Required Skills/Knowledge Intermediate analytical skills and mastery of MS Office products is required. Good written communication skills required. Ability to communicate with individuals across a broad range of the organization is essential. Experience management and analyzing large sets of data preferred. Functional Accountabilities Financial Analysis Perform financial analysis, to answer queries including, but not limited to utilization, payors, profitability, cash flow, operating results, and business plans to determine rates of return, capital/cash flow requirements, etc. Plan and perform analyses of financial data to support other departments. Perform in-depth research, analysis and interpretive insights of financial data to recommend quality improvement to current processes, forecast alignment of business objectives with economic/financial environments, and support strategic planning and business opportunities Participates in business case development and analysis for organization or functional business areas. Budget Creation and Monitoring Assist with creation of budget schedules by devising an efficient system for manipulating data. Create mailings and slide presentations to functional management and recommendations impacting business decisions. Update financial data/information in financial system(s). Report Preparation Create and provide accurate and timely reports for performance monitoring that trend financial and other indicators. Works with management personnel to explain trends. Prepare monthly reports for distribution. May assemble and prepare statistical and financial information for submission to surveys. Develops ad hoc and special reports summarizing project status/results. The disclosed salary range includes the minimum and maximum rates within which Children's National believes an individual's base pay rate will fall for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the maximum of the pay range. The exact pay rate for this position will be based on a variety of factors in alignment with the Children's National compensation philosophy. These factors are legitimate and non-discriminatory including, but not limited to, the current market conditions; organizational needs; the individual's combination of prior work experience, level of education, knowledge, skills, and other qualifications.
