Direct Support Professional

TheDirect Support Professionalprovides direct care, support, and advocacy to assigned consumers in the community. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following, community integration, volunteer activities, recreational, and activities of daily living.

This position works to implement the home and community services which includes rehabilitative and therapeutic activities to assist consumers to achieve successful outcome/goals

Payrate: $17/hr

Schedule: PRN

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities ispreferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.
• Dual Diagnosis experience ispreferred.
• Community Participation Support certificatepreferred
