Are you an experienced Medical Surgical nurse looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of cancer patients? Join our team at City of Hope Orange County Cancer Specialty Hospital as a Clinical Nurse III in the Medical Surgical Unit and be part of a groundbreaking team dedicated to providing world-class, compassionate care to a diverse range of patients. As a Clinical Nurse III, you will play a vital role in guiding and coordinating care for a diverse range of patients, including those with cardiac, respiratory, sepsis, diabetes, and post-surgical conditions, many of whom are undergoing chemotherapy and other cancer-related treatments. You will provide specialized oncology-focused care, ensuring the highest standards of treatment in accordance with Nursing Department policies and procedures. This role includes performing comprehensive assessments, monitoring treatment-related side effects and post-operative complications, and developing individualized, evidence-based care plans. You will collaborate closely with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to support patients throughout active treatment and recovery, directly impacting outcomes and quality of life. We are looking for passionate, skilled nurses who can think critically, act decisively, and provide compassionate support to patients and families. Your ability to effectively communicate, document, and integrate cultural, psychosocial, and spiritual needs into care plans will be key to delivering exceptional care.
