The Role

The Pantops Oncology Infusion Center is a newer, state-of-the-art ambulatory infusion facility experiencing continued growth and expansion. As the Lead Pharmacist, you will serve as the primary pharmacy leader for the site, overseeing day-to-day operations, regulatory readiness, compliance activities, and interdisciplinary collaboration while remaining an active participant in frontline pharmacy practice.

Working alongside another pharmacist, two experienced pharmacy technicians, nursing partners, providers, and clinic pharmacists, you will help ensure seamless delivery of infusion services while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and operational excellence.

In this role, you will:

• Lead pharmacy operations for a growing oncology infusion center while serving as the primary pharmacy point person for the site.

• Provide oversight of regulatory compliance, Board of Pharmacy readiness, Joint Commission preparedness, sterile compounding requirements, and pharmacy quality activities.

• Verify infusion and oncology medication orders and provide clinical support to nursing staff and providers throughout the day.

• Support inventory management, medication forecasting, and operational planning to ensure therapies are available for scheduled patients.

• Troubleshoot site-level challenges, coordinate clean room monitoring activities, oversee audits, and resolve compliance or equipment concerns.

• Mentor pharmacy technicians and staff, answer operational and clinical questions, and provide leadership guidance across the team.

• Partner closely with nursing and clinic teams to deliver exceptional patient care and maintain a highly collaborative practice environment.

• Drive process improvements, advocate for the team, and take ownership of the continued growth and success of the site.
