ABOUT THE ROLE

Join SC Johnson Professional as the National Distribution Manager and serve as the strategic leader for our most important national distribution partners. As the primary relationship owner for key strategic accounts, you'll develop growth strategies, lead customer programs, and drive profitable business through strong distributor partnerships. Collaborating across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Product teams, you'll influence innovation, execute strategic initiatives, and help deliver solutions that create cleaner, safer, and healthier healthcare environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creation, execution, and reporting of tactical business plan to deliver assigned revenue targets

  • Strategic growth management of largest distributors and select end use customers to include portfolio management (gap analysis & closure), contract negotiation, marketing planning & execution, prudent financial investments & Distributor Sales Representative engagement.

  • Expanding SCJP user reach and lead generation for the field via optimal usage of strategic distributor marketing and sales capabilities.

  • Complete ownership of end-to-end commercial process (order to cash) to include forecasting, item & pricing management, payment & rebate management.

  • Collaborate with field sales & national account organization on local support needs for end users and DSR's as well as ensuring proper inventory/stocking profiles.

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of SCJP and specific product value proposition, market landscape, competitive actions, and user needs.

  • Build positive and productive business relationships with customers, prospects and influencers.

  • Daily utilization of SCJP support tools, reports and CRM system to optimize time and communication

  • Achievement of assigned key performance metrics including customer activity, initiative velocity and business objective contribution.

  • Active and responsible management of expenses and financial investments (pricing, rebates, dispensers, etc.)

  • This is a dynamic work environment; numerous occasions will arise where support is required outside the job description.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships and communications with all internal functions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelors degree AND 7+ years of experience in national account management or strategic sales within the commercial and janitorial industry or business to business (B2B) distribution. Proven experience managing customer programs, business forecasting, strategic planning, and cross-functional strategic development initiatives.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Healthcare segment and managing healthcare distribution

  • Proven ability to drive results via creative opportunity identification and execution

  • High sense of urgency and personal accountability

  • High aptitude working within a formalized sales process

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Institutional or CPG selling and/or marketing experience with market leading brands

  • Possess working knowledge of distribution logistics to end-users, programming, and promotional tools to drive revenue growth.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-time position, Remote

  • This role can be located anywhere in the United States, preferably near Charlotte, NC OR anywhere in the Southeast or Mid-Central region near a major airport

  • Up to 50% domestic travel

  • This position is not eligible for relocation

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
