As Vice President Project & Construction Management, you will lead Project Management, Construction Management, Commissioning, and Project Setup across Exyte's project portfolio in the United States. Spanning Advanced Technology Facilities, Biopharma & Life Sciences, and Data Centers, the role provides integrated leadership from the sales and proposal phase through project planning, construction, commissioning, and closeout.

You will shape execution models during preconstruction, strengthen constructability and delivery planning, and ensure consistent performance across safety, quality, cost, schedule, and productivity. A central part of your mandate will be the effective staffing of projects, including anticipating resource requirements and redeploying experienced team members across the portfolio as project needs evolve.

This role requires an accomplished EPC/EPCM and construction leader with the breadth to oversee multiple project environments and the credibility to align project teams, functional leaders, and senior stakeholders. Experience in semiconductor facility delivery is particularly relevant given the complexity and significance of this part of the portfolio.

Project & Construction Execution Leadership

  • Lead all project execution and construction operations across the portfolio
  • Ensure performance across safety, schedule, cost, quality, and productivity metrics
  • Oversee transitions from engineering to construction and through project completion
  • Standardize execution practices, tools, and governance across projects

Preconstruction & Delivery Strategy

  • Provide leadership input into preconstruction, estimating, and bid strategies
  • Partner with engineering to ensure constructability and efficient execution planning
  • Define and implement project execution plans, methodologies, and delivery models
  • Improve competitiveness through optimized planning and delivery strategies

Commercial & Subcontractor Management

  • Oversee subcontractor strategy, selection, and performance management
  • Lead contract negotiations and scope alignment for construction activities
  • Ensure commercial discipline and alignment with project financial objectives

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement across project delivery and field execution
  • Implement best practices, standardization, and lessons learned across projects
  • Improve productivity, cost efficiency, and schedule reliability
  • Identify and resolve systemic execution challenges

People Leadership & Organization Development

  • Lead and develop high-performing project and field leadership teams
  • Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and organizational capability development
  • Drive performance management, accountability, and leadership growth
  • Foster a collaborative, execution-focused culture across regions and projects

Culture, Safety & Organizational Alignment

  • Champion a strong safety culture aligned with Incident-Free Workplace principles
  • Promote alignment with company strategy, objectives, and operating standards
  • Build strong cross-functional collaboration across engineering, project management, and operations
  • Act as a role model for leadership, communication, and organizational values
Show your expertise

Extensive EPC/EPCM and construction leadership experience, with 15+ years in the delivery of large-scale, technically complex capital projects across multiple sites or project portfolios.

Provenend-to-end project delivery track record, covering preconstruction, estimating, constructability, engineering-to-construction transition, field execution, project controls, commissioning, and closeout.

Deep expertise in construction execution and field operations, combined with strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control, delivery risk, productivity, subcontractor management, and project performance.

Experienced portfolio and resource leader, with the ability to anticipate staffing requirements, deploy project teams effectively, develop leadership capability, and manage changing resource needs across concurrent projects.

Strong industry experience in complex high-tech construction environments, including semiconductor, biopharma and life sciences, or mission-critical facilities. Semiconductor project experience is highly relevant.

Relevant academic and professional qualifications, including a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Relevant construction or safety certifications are preferred. Frequent travel to active project sites is required.
