Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Accounting Manager, International to join our shared services team.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Oversee monthly accounting close to ensure compliance with US GAAP for 26 countries in LATAM, EMEA, APAC and Canada,
  • Mentor and oversee accounting activities for 2 senior accountants,
  • Work closely with Corporate Controller, FP&A, AR and AP Shared Service teams, and operations to support the needs of the business,
  • Support M&A activities as they arise (opening balance sheet due diligence, aligning chart of accounts and accounting policies,
  • Establish account reconciliation standards, including intercompany, and implement monthly process to report bank reconciliation details to the Corporate Controller,
  • Assess and document accounting processes across international entities to ensure appropriate cutoff procedures, identify process gaps, and implement scalable improvements that increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Document intercompany elimination process and establish strong understanding of revenue stream and other intercompany transactions
  • Work with the Corporate Accounting and Consolidations team to push down purchase accounting for new acquisitions
  • Map out international org structure with respect to Finance/ Accounting responsibilities that will be performed internally vs those performed externally (such as tax compliance)
  • Support Pavion Integration team with a plan to integrate entities onto a single ERP platform to be determined
  • Support changes and reorganizations within the International business
  • Work the International tax lead to establish a compliance calendar for accounting submissions to 3rd party consultants to catch up on and maintain in-country compliance
  • Coordinate and drive completion of statutory audits for international entities, including management of external auditors and timely resolution of audit requests.


Basic Qualifications:



  • 8 to 12 years experience in multi-national environments, including consolidation ofmultinational organizations,
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Advanced excel skills (Power Query, advanced, formulas, xlookups, pivot tables, etc.),
  • Experience consolidating international entities into US books in both local and USD functionalcurrencies; able to understand financial statement impacts of FX under different consolidation scenarios


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Advanced degree in Accounting or related field
  • Experience with systems implementation, process improvement
  • Familiarity with Sage, Business Central, and/ or OneStream
  • CPA license, international equivalent
