MCC is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for safely transporting products to customers and between facilities while supporting shipping, receiving, and production operations. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, organized, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and service.

Responsibilities:



  • Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to complete customer deliveries and company transportation needs.
  • Perform deliveries primarily two days per week, with additional warehouse and production support responsibilities as needed.
  • Load and unload products and materials while ensuring proper handling and secure transport.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain required documentation.
  • Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures.
  • Report vehicle maintenance concerns, accidents, delivery delays, or other issues promptly.
  • Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers
  • Read and interpret job tickets, layouts, and production documentation to ensure accurate product movement.
  • Coordinate closely with Shipping, Finishing, Customer Service, and Production departments to support workflow and customer requirements.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts.
  • Assist with inventory control, shipping, receiving, and product staging activities.
  • Accurately enter information into company systems for job tracking, inventory management, and payroll purposes.
  • Assist with equipment care, basic preventative maintenance activities, and maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Dispose of waste materials according to established procedures and properly identify storage containers.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards, including GMP, HACCP, BRC, and other applicable requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with coworkers and departments to achieve operational goals.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


Required:



  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for at least three years.
  • Current DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
  • Experience safely operating a 26-foot box truck.
  • Forklift experience and ability to operate material handling equipment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including documentation and driver logs.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic math and reading comprehension skills.



Preferred:




  • Experience with inventory control and shipping/receiving operations.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or printing environment.
  • Familiarity with the York, Hanover, and Hunt Valley areas.



Physical Requirements:




  • Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday.
  • Regular use of hands, arms, and upper body for handling materials and equipment.
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to meet vision requirements, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
