Inova Clinical Enterprise Operations Finance is looking for a dedicated Clinical Enterprise Operations Financial Analyst to join the Team. This hybrid role will be full-time working day-shift Monday - Friday. The Financial Analyst, Clinical Enterprise Operations role provides foundational financial support for service line operations, including sites of care, physician services, and ambulatory outpatient services. This position supports monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close activities, working closely with finance, accounting, and operational partners. Clinical Enterprise Operations Financial Analyst Finance Responsibilities:
- Supports monthly financial operations reporting, including preparation of reports and variance analysis.
- Completes month-end close activities, including preparation of routine journal entries and supporting documentation on time.
- Reviews financial transactions for accuracy and completeness and escalates issues as appropriate.
- Assists with the development and maintenance of short- and long-term budgets and forecasts; Maintains financial schedules and models used in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Assists with updating and entering assumptions and budgeted amounts in the Oracle budget system.
- Creates and maintains recordkeeping systems for financial and statistical data that support accounting entries and reporting; Supports finance activities related to assigned areas, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Ensures financial data is organized, well-documented, and auditable; Maintains financial schedules and models used in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Prepares clear and accurate financial and operational reports for review by finance leadership and senior management; Coordinates with finance and accounting team members to support accurate reporting and timely close processes.
- Responds to routine financial data requests and assists with ad hoc analyses as needed.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree with a major in accounting or finance
