We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Livingston, NJ.

Requirements:

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
• Required Skills: Administration of blood & blood products, Antepartum, Anticoagulation therapy, Antihypertensives, Assist with Circumcision/Assess site post-op, Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), Baby friendly protocols, Breastfeeding Support/lactation support, Couplet Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Drawing Venous Blood, Epidural Anesthesia, Episiotomy/Incisional Care, High Risk Antepartum, Infant Identification, Isolation Precautions/PPE, LDRP, Newborn hypoglycemia, NST (Non Stress Tests), Opioids, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pre-eclampsia / eclampsia, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Starting and maintaining IVs, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Thermoregulation, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Use of Electric/Manual breast pump, Antiseizure, Bladder Distension, Car Seat Education, Cesarean Section, Cord Care, Foley catheter insertion/management, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Metabolic Screen, Mother/Baby, Multiple Births, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Neonatal Resuscitation, Newborn Assessment, Pain assessment & management, Phototherapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of PCA (IV), Vaginal Delivery, Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring, Vaccine Administration, Wound assessment/care
