What to Expect

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Security Manager to oversee the Security Operations for our large-scale manufacturing facility. This role will support and implement operational protocols, crisis management initiatives, and strategic processes to ensure the facility's security and safety. The Associate Security Manager will also provide leadership in driving security performance metrics, team development, and process optimization. In the absence of the Manager, this role will act as the primary point of contact for Security Operations.


What You'll Do
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day security operations, ensuring adherence to operational protocols and high-performance standards
  • Act as a key resource in the development and execution of crisis management plans and emergency response initiatives
  • Drive team development through mentorship, training, and performance evaluations
  • Develop and communicate meaningful metrics to measure and improve operational execution
  • Continuously refine and innovate processes to improve threat analysis and reporting capabilities
  • Develop, implement, and periodically re-evaluate security policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and industry best practices
  • Ensure compliance with security, safety, and risk management standards while addressing any identified vulnerabilities promptly

What You'll Bring
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in leadership roles within military, law enforcement, corporate security, or emergency management
  • At least 3+ years in a Security Operations leadership role or control center environment
  • 5+ years of experience in physical security, risk management, loss prevention, or emergency preparedness
  • Hands-on knowledge of video review, alarms, and access control security systems is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in coordinating and conducting training events in a corporate or professional setting
  • Proven ability to manage stress and respond swiftly to high-pressure situations in a professional and composed manner
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey policies, procedures, and metrics to a diverse audience
