Job Description: The Continuous Improvement Intern will help drive process efficiency improvements tied directly to our site's 2026 operational goals. This role offers hands-on experience in Lean principles, process improvement, data analysis, and project execution. Working closely with Manufacturing and cross-functional teams, the intern will help analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, implement changes for improvement (kaizen), track project progress, and communicate results. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented student who wants practical experience applying Lean manufacturing principles, problem-solving tools, and project management skills in a manufacturing environment. * Support cost savings and efficiency projects, including deviation reduction, throughput improvement, and first-time quality. * Identify and help lead quick-win improvement opportunities (e.g. 5S initiatives) * Assist with project management by tracking action items, timelines, and deliverables * Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why and fishbone diagrams * Analyze data and prepare reports to highlight process bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement * Collaborate with a wide range of personnel across manufacturing and engineering teams Qualifications: * Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business or a related field * Strong interest in continuous improvement and data-driven problem solving * Exposure (academic or practical) to Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement or data analysis tools is a plus * Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Comfortable working cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Location: Spokane, WA - On Site, Full-Time Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Compensation & Benefits That Start on Day One - Because Your Well Being Matters Hiring Wage: $23.00 - $27.00/hourly At Jubilant HollisterStier, we don't believe in waiting periods.
