Job Summary

The Product Designer (UX/UI) is responsible for designing intuitive, scalable, and user-centered digital experiences across enterprise applications and customer-facing platforms. This role partners closely with product, engineering, business stakeholders, and end users to identify opportunities, conduct research, develop solutions, and deliver high-quality designs throughout the product development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate combines strong UX and visual design skills with the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments. This individual will contribute to design system development, customer research, process improvement initiatives, and the creation of high-fidelity experiences that balance user needs, business objectives, and technical requirements.

Job Responsibilities



  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives, user needs, and operational challenges.
  • Conduct user research activities including interviews, feedback sessions, usability testing, and discovery workshops.
  • Translate research findings into actionable design recommendations and product requirements.
  • Design intuitive workflows, dashboards, customer portals, and enterprise application experiences.
  • Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Simplify complex business processes into user-friendly digital experiences.
  • Collaborate throughout the product development lifecycle, including discovery, ideation, testing, iteration, implementation, and validation.
  • Develop and maintain scalable design systems, component libraries, and reusable design patterns.
  • Leverage established design frameworks, including Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS), when applicable.
  • Create documentation and standards that promote consistency across products and teams.
  • Partner closely with engineers to ensure effective design-to-development handoffs.
  • Present design concepts and rationale through clear storytelling and stakeholder communication.
  • Facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams through visual communication and design artifacts.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Identify opportunities to improve design processes, workflows, and operational efficiency.
  • Explore emerging technologies and AI-assisted design tools to improve productivity and design quality.
  • Contribute to UX best practices, design operations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Product Design, Graphic Design, User Experience Design, or a related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, UI Design, or a related discipline.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design processes and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern design and prototyping tools.
  • Experience designing enterprise applications, customer portals, dashboards, and workflow-driven systems.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and design validation activities.
  • Strong understanding of user experience design, interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and accessibility principles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


Work Experience



  • 4-8 years of Product Design, UX/UI Design, or related experience required.
  • Experience designing enterprise software, operational platforms, or customer-facing applications required.
  • Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries preferred.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams throughout implementation preferred.
  • Experience working in both startup and enterprise environments preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce platforms and Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) preferred.
  • Experience with AI-enabled design tools and workflows preferred.
  • Experience supporting customer service, utility, energy, SaaS, or related industries preferred.
