DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position supports the processing of customer records and helps ensure accurate and timely handling of licensing information. You will assist with office tasks that keep driver records updated and accessible. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Record Updates: Process forms and documents to update driver and non-driver records for individuals with suspensions or other sanctions
- Work Logging: Track incoming work and distribute tasks according to required procedures and priorities
- Issue Reporting: Report system problems to supervisors or work leaders as soon as they occur
- Fee Handling: Manage fee waiver codes and ensure all fees are processed or transferred correctly
- Customer Products: Receive license products from sanctioned drivers and return items once requirements are met
- Customer Support: Respond to phone inquiries by reviewing records and providing accurate information

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
