You will work with the Nondestructive Examinations (NDE) Engineering organization, which designs tooling and complex robotic systems to perform inspections of nuclear plants around the world! This role is a unique opportunity for someone who likes the idea of seeing lots of complex robotic systems get built and used every year and someone who is very self-motivated to lead teams and ensure the success of these engineering projects! This position will manage a team of approximately six Project Engineers, Schedulers, Testing Engineers, and Engineering Aides. The role is responsible for design integration functions such as Technical Requirements Documents, Failure Modes & Effects Analyses, Design Review Boards, Integration Testing, Systems Engineering, Project Engineering, and Project Scheduling. Our work is fast-paced with many projects running in parallel, which makes for a very energizing work environment. The ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel simultaneously is critical. Previous supervisory or project management experience is preferred.



What You'll Do Day-To-Day

    Ensure effective performance of engineering assignments.
  • Plan and direct the timely execution of engineering activities, as assigned.
  • Ensure projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards.
  • Ensure adherence to government, organization and customer engineering standards and procedures.
  • Monitor goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members.
  • Work interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships.
  • Research and assess best practices, proposing methods and improvements.
  • Work on special projects, as directed.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks, as required.


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering. Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted.
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with specialized software tools and programming languages as required by the role.


Total Rewards Package

  • Salary: $115,000- $156,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
