Frank's Supply Company is a major supplier of construction tools and equipment with our focus on both sales and rental .We are currently seeking a qualified GRAPHIC ARTIST for our Albuquerque, NM location.
Summary of Position Responsibilities: The graphic artist position assists the marketing department in providing promotional items that align with current marketing strategies. This position is responsible for supporting marketing campaigns and performing tasks in accordance with company business practices and in the professional manner required to build market share and maintain repeat business with our valued customers. Specific Tasks and Responsibilities: * Assist in the development of flyers and brochures that coordinate with the current marketing plan * Proficient in current versions of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and standard print functions. Knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus. * Develop special projects as requested. This may include such projects as a full line catalog or rental equipment-training manual. * Know required features and demonstrate proficient use of all job support tools including computer system, telephone, fax, E-mail, voice mail, copier, and other job reference materials and documents. * Participate in personal development including activities as directed by management which can include: Attending department and company meetings Attending computer software seminars Telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills seminars Other training courses approved by management * Perform special projects; participate on project teams, and other tasks as assigned by management. * Must be able to identify, evaluate, and assimilate information before making quality decisions Qualifications: * 2-3 year experience in graphic arts * Excellent computer skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Above average reading comprehension * Basic math skills * Technical competence * Good attitude Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: * Good eyesight and hearing * Sitting for extended periods of time * Overtime; can be short notice * Problem solving * Customer contact * Overhead reaching * Climbing stairs * Able to lift packages up to 45 pounds * Good memory * Equipment and job resources consistently used include the computer and related technologies, telephone, fax machine, and copier EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER MINORITIES, FEMALES, VETERANS, DISABLED | |
