Crisis Services Training Specialist, School of Social Work Provider Assistance Training Hub (PATH) Located Statewide in Illinois Job SummaryDelivering and developing training content and curriculum to support crisis intervention services for enrolled Medicaid Behavioral Health Providers in the State of Illinois. Train the IM+CANS, IM-CAT, Mobile Crisis Response required trainings, Human Trafficking, and other crisis and clinical content developed for funder initiatives. Duties & Responsibilities
Work Schedule, Travel, or Other Job ExpectationsStatewide travel required. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in social work or related field from an accredited college or university. One (1) - three (3) years of Crisis Work experience. Illinois clinical licensure. LPHA status pursuant to 89 ILAC 140.453. IM+CANS trainer level certification within 90 days of hire. SOC trainer certification within 120 days of hire. Preferred QualificationsExperience working with IM-CAT, CANS, ANSA, FAST or TCOM. Training experience. Mobile Crisis Response experience. Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesSelf-motivated and able to work semi-independently to train peers in crisis response, assessment, and care planning. Working knowledge of change management strategies, established training, coaching and transfer of learning methodologies, case study and clinical case presentation methodologies, established evidence-informed child behavioral health practices and clinical interventions, the impact of trauma on the child and family system, child and adolescent development, issues related to diagnosis and co-morbidity, and other behavioral health issues.
